Children play sports while studying

March 09, 2014
Children should be encouraged to play sports while studying because of four useful reasons. First of all, playing sports in such young age can make children start to feel interesting in sports. When they are interesting in it, they will continue to play sports from then on. Playing sports can be considered as doing exercise, so while the children are playing sports; it seems that they are doing exercise at the same time also. That's why they can achieve good health as they do exercises. Second, playing sports can inspire the children to be competitive since young age. As we have already known that sport is a competition to find the winner, so when children play sports, they will try to compete and challenge each other to be the winners. This competitive spirit also makes the children try their best and find any solutions or strategies to win against others. Third, playing sports teach them how to work as a team. In order to win the competition in sports, a good strategy is to work in team, so children will learn that teamwork is necessary in any of situation, and then they will learn quickly to adapt and cooperate with each other in order to succeed. In other words, we can say that playing sport can create a team-work spirit within the children in their young age. Finally, playing sports can be considered as an entertaining game that can release stress. For instance, children can choose to play football with their friends when they are bored or when they get pressure from studying, and it's a good thing that children can choose playing sports to release stress instead of doing other things that might be harmful. To conclude, these reasons show that playing sports is a really good activity for children while studying, so a good choice for us is to encourage the children to play sport all together; however, we should be responsible not to let the children play sports too much because it also can return them with negative sides.
